"Located in Northern Arizona, a visit to the Meteor Crater Visitor Center provides
you with an enjoyable educational experience in well maintained, modern facilities,
which are kept spotlessly clean. The former Museum of Astrogeology has been remodeled
and includes new displays on the never-ending process of impacts and collisions in
our solar system. The Meteor Crater Interactive Learning Center includes twenty-four
exciting exhibits, making it the most extensive and informative museum of its type
on planet earth. Also included in the Learning Center are two interactive computer
displays that contain information and high-tech graphics on space, meteorites and

"Located on the scenic San Francisco Peaks, the Arizona Snowbowl is just a few hours
from Phoenix. Its a great place to escape the summer heat, watch the aspens turn gold
in the fall, take in the wildflowers or play a round of Disc Golf. Our Scenic Skyride,
which runs from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October, is a fantastic way to
experience the Peaks. Since were only 70 miles from the Grand Canyon, this makes
a great stop along the way. And the outdoor opportunities dont stop at the ski resort.
The Snowbowl is situated in the backyard of the Kachina Peaks Wilderness, in the
Coconino National Forest, which features many great hiking trails."

Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona averages 4.7 million visitors annually. Over
3 million will visit the South Rim. Nearly 750,000 will enjoy the North Rim. And
500,000 will visit the newly discovered West Rim. Also, 500,000 will fly over
magnificent Grand Canyon on an Air Tour from Las Vegas. The Grand Canyon is more
than a great chasm carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau.
It is more than an awe-inspiring view. It is more than a pleasuring ground for
those who explore the roads, fly over it, hike the trails, or float the turbulent
current with our Colorado River Rafting Trip. The Grand Canyon we visit today is a
gift from past generations."

"For its time and place, there was no other pueblo like Wupatki. Less than 800
years ago, it was the tallest, largest, and perhaps the richest and most influential
pueblo around. It was home to 85-100 people, and several thousand more lived within
a day's walk. And it was built in one of the lowest, warmest, and driest places on
the Colorado Plateau."
