Travel Inn, Flagstaff, AZ

simple, as expected for the price you paid. clean and well kept. we liked it because it is located near restaurants and other business establishments. a few yards away, we were able to sled on a small hill near NAU, which was fun. we had a very nice stay. definitely coming back

extremly nice short term stay

We stayed at the motel for one night while travelling route 1. The motel was in a perfect location between Carmel and Monterey Bay, it was clean and comfortable. I can only recommend this motel.

Great location for NAU

Very friendly owners. Easy to walk to NAU. Was perfect location for the NAU family weekend.

This small older motor inn hosts many route 66 enthusiats from touring motorcycles to classic cars. It was like being in the 50's again. The motel was very clean and the rooms are updated but still have the 1950's charm. The continental breakfast was good and a great start to our day. The owners have an old car and we were so excited to talk to them. Very gracious and give alot of information about the whole area. Will stay here most definetly again.

We will stay here again when traveling through flagstaff az. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy. Nice breakfast too!

Nice Surprise

I booked late for Family Weekend at NAU, so I pretty much got stuck with whatever I could get...but I was pleasantly surprised at the Travel Inn. It's an older motel definately, but it was pretty well maintained and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept in EVER in a hotel. Usually I wake up (if I get any sleep at all) very early in the morning with a backache the first day, but this trip, even the second day I slept like a baby...almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, it was great having 3 double beds for my family. All in all, I probably would stay here again. It was a resonable price and very little train noise.

From the time we arrived check in was great, we stayed in a family room! The rooms were very clean and well kept! My kids enjoyed the homemade waffles and cereal that they served for the continental breakfast! The staff was very friendly and also help us decide where to eat for dinner! I would stay again!

Travel Inn Flagstaff - Winter

My family stayed at the Travel Inn in Flagstaff, AZ in January. We rented a 3 Double-Bed unit. This was your basic Hotel room with an attached small room with 1 bed in it. The setup was very convenient as the extra room housed the kids and had a door between the rooms so that we could stay up and watch TV in the main room without keeping the kids awake. The extra room also had it's own Radiating Heater, so the kids had better be careful kids. The room was as you would expect from a mid-priced Motel. Clean rooms with Continental Breakfast available if you get up early enough. I would still recommend this Motel to anyone with a couple of kids because of the adjoining room. It was very convenient for our "Fun in the snow weekend". There are many restaurants and even a theater close by.

Great value

The room was very clean, spacious, and quite comfortable. Since the hotel sets off the main street, it was very quiet in the room. We appreciated the fact it is pet friendly. The only drawback I could find is the size of the breakfast area (no room for seating)- although they do have waffles. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great value and comfort The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We were very comfortable in the room, warm and the bed was great. We had a King bed that was just right. We would stay here again and recomend this to all.

The Travel Inn is an older motel but maintained to my satisfaction with a breakfast. For the $ this passes the test and that makes more $ for a good steak to eat for dinner.
